He's the best exotic vet around! I wouldn't take my snakes or lizards to anyone else, and I've visited a handful of other vets claiming they were knowledgeable with exotics. I'd recomm end them to anyone.
Dr. Feinsod really knows his stuff. He is the only person I really trust to see my reptiles. He gives you an explanation into what is going on with your pet, and he's not condescending, doesn't treat you like you're stupid, and isn't trying to get you to spend money just to do so. In my opinion, he's the best vet in the area.
I'm a certified veterinary technician, and despite getting free or discounted services at the practices I've worked at, when my pets are unwell I still take them to Ani-Care instead. Dr. Feinsod has always been compassionate and extremely well educated, both in dealing with regular illnesses in canines and felines, and in handling all manner of exotics and less common ailments. I found him years ago when searching for a vet in the area who sees ferrets, and he has my complete trust now with all my animals.

I've taken my pet rats there many times. Any rat owner knows how the smallest thing can be concerning to the owner and not always a as bad as it looks. They don't want to just give you a diagnosis and throw meds at you. In the long run I've saved myself a lot of stress and money by deciding on this doctor. I'll even make the 30min drive to keep my ratties in good hands.
